About Me
Hi, I'm Shawn Adams, the founder of Bluebird + Balance Bookkeeping.
But my real education came from 18 years of running my own business. I built a childcare center from scratch, expanded it to 5 locations, and took it from 6 figures in year one to 7 figures by year four.
Along the way, I did every job there is to do inside a company — janitor, supply purchaser, bookkeeper, HR, CFO, CEO, and everything in between. I didn't just learn how a business runs. I learned how it runs when you're the one doing all of it.
